The Botanical green wedding trend still has my heart going [ even the Royals tied the knot this year with this theme ]. I loved planning this wedding for Morgan & Darren that is living in the UK, their theme with a touch of bohemian was just beautiful and all the element came together on the day & I got to work with the most wonderful creative team on this. I don’t think there was a guests there on the day that didn’t have fun, from amazing music to a self-help ice cream station, this wedding had the most electrifying atmosphere, but I think it’s mostly because this couple was also relaxed and enjoyed their special day, thank you Morgan & Darren I really loved being a part of your incredible day
MORE ABOUT THE DAY
Our wedding was everything we hoped it would be and more. Living in the UK, we entrusted Izandi and her team as well as the other suppliers fully with the execution of the day and it was sensational. Planning a wedding was stressful – many skype calls to suppliers, a flight to South Africa to check the venue for the first time after the deposit was paid (I think we flew back to South Africa with fingers and toes crossed) and a make-up and hair trial a couple of days before the big day but we had full faith in the suppliers that we chose. And they certainly did not disappoint – they were all spectacular.
A special mention to IDO4U who coordinated the day so beautifully, Bouwer Flowers and Happinest for their inspired ideas and creativity, Cecilia Fourie for making me feel amazing, Kaitlyn de Villiers for capturing the essence of the day and Webersburg wine farm for hosting (and putting up with) us. I will never forget taking couple shots across the dam from the pre-drinks area and looking back to the venue to see our guests dancing, drinking, mingling and generally having the best time. We could not have asked for more and we are so blessed.
